FS Yusuf had posted on Twitter that the “Minister of Education couldn’t hold a meeting with the National Association of Nigerian Students.
Shameful.
I learnt he was asked why his kids school abroad while students in Nigeria are sitting at home due to ASUU strike; as a result, he got upset and walked out of the meeting. “
How does such a minister get fascinated with schools abroad and yet he cannot replicate such functional grandness in the country ?

The disdain many pubic officials have for ordinary Nigerians is indeed shameful.
This is coupled with the fact that many of the serve with a complete and utter lack of distinction.

Most Nigerian pubic officials always travel outside the country to go and enjoy excellent services in all sectors but see no need of recreating those set of services in the homeland. Yet they struggle desperately to remain in office.
Prof Lumumba adds that the giant in Nigeria is still sleeping, perhaps slumbering..but when she wakes up, perhaps that would be the day.
