Knowing the great lengths Nigerian banks go to celebrate it’s customers, The Oasis Reporters team kept vigil from 12 midnight to herald the Easter day and be the first to catch messages from the nation’s financial powerhouses. At exactly 2:11 am, Nigeria’s multiple award winning and most profitable Zenith Bank Plc’s Easter message, came in.
It simply but deeply said,
“He is risen. Wishing you a wonderful Easter filled with Peace, Joy and all the Blessings you desire.
Happy Easter
From all of us at Zenith Bank Plc.”
It’s message was drawing deep from the Bible at Luke 24:5-6
” And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee”.
Thus the banner message was, “He Is Risen!” The message itself was touching on the blessings that are desired.
We saw it in Revelation 5:12
“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing”.
The message from Access Bank Plc, Africa’s largest bank by customer base, on course to draw about 30% of it’s group’s profits from it’s continental operations in Africa, opened it’s arms wide to embrace
“the gift of redemption and salvation”.
It further says,
“Today we celebrate the sacrifice on the cross that gave us redemption and salvation.
Happy Easter!
From all of us at Access.”
Then another subtle message about what the bank offers:
“Services tailored just for you, to meet your style, taste and comfort.”
Fidelity Bank PLC was equally on hand to spread blessings.
Hear the fast growing bank that will be spreading it’s wings to the opportunities of global banking, starting with London.
Here’s the message:
“May the blessings of the resurrection fill your home with Joy, Peace and Happiness.
Happy Easter.
From Fidelity”
Happy Easter from All of Us at The Oasis Reporters.
