It was a celebratory atmosphere on Sunday night, April 21, 2024, when Fidelity Bank celebrated Air Peace’s trajectory, especially the historic commencement of direct flights to London.

Air Peace says that ”a special event organised by the bank ,”to felicitate with us on our London service and other giant strides.

We’re happy to be in this strategic partnership with Fidelity Bank as ‘they truly keep their word’.

The celebration organized by Fidelity Bank is like an up and coming city that was besieged by the king of a larger town who encamped around it to attack and destroy it. But one wise old man used his wisdom and saved the city.

With bated breaths, many Nigerians had watched Allen Onyema speak on television about the gathering of some major international airlines that had lowered their ticket fares to the level of unprofitability in a bid to price his airline out. It was a first step towards the end step of squeezing competition, then increasing air fares later.

But Allen Onyema has sufficient street credibility in business so he put his plans into place to remain in the Aviation business.

Knowing fully that the opportunities before him to run in the domestic market and also on the international aviation routes, he integrated both models thus giving a new model of taking passengers from their local communities and integrating their flights into the international destinations.

With that he thus saved his airline from the predatory hands of bigger and much older airlines. Air Peace used it’s home advantage to remain in the air, flying.

The sheer ingenuity seems like what Fidelity Bank came to celebrate, which is a win not only for Air Peace but also for their financial partners, supporters and nation.
