The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Member-Elect for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in Plateau State, Hon. Dachung Bagos has raised an alarm that few days to the Governorship and House of Assembly elections, Result sheets for the Governorship position were already in circulation.

Hon. Bagos is however calling on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and the Security Agencies to as a matter of urgency investigate the matter and ensure that only true and authentic materials supplied for the Saturday elections are made use of.

Bagos who disclosed this Thursday afternoon during a press conference in Jos, warns that citizens would not accept any outcome of the elections that is not the voice of the people.

According to him it is very obvious that the government in power is desperately nursing evil to forcefully upturn the outcome of the elections to APC ‘s advantage.

“We are worried that the APC is trying to portray that there are impending threats of crises and anarchy in the state during the elections. We received credible information that the state government has asked for a deployment of more security personnel to Plateau State.

“We want the Federal government to disregard such request because Plateau State is peaceful, and when you hear the heartbeat of a Plateau Man you know that they want to vote for the PDP. That’s why the governor is trying to portray the state as under threat.

“We asked. When people were being killed in large numbers on a daily basis why was adequate security not deployed to the state to protect lives and property?

“It is all over on social media that, Lalong is alleged to have sneaked in result sheets of governorship elections, and we don’t want to take such issues lightly.

“We want to warn the state government not to try what it did during the local government election, where results were being collated in various local government and they went ahead to announced winners”.

He said the INEC result sheets already flying on social Media as he observed, gives him no reason to doubt or to disbelieve that they are not authentic property of INEC, and warns that the people will not accept anything short of the people’s voice.

He said what happened during the presidential and national assembly elections where their results were held for days before they were later released creates a lot of suspicion on the credibility of the INEC to conduct free and fair elections.

He called on citizens to be wary of the antics of desperate politicians to rig elections, hence should ensure they come out to vote for candidates of their choice and make sure votes are counted, guided and protected.
