63 Years Relationship With France That Kept Niger In Stagnation: Concerned Prof Karimou Bares His Mind

Professor Kalla Karimou has things to say about his country that I found interesting, and I’m sharing it with you! Here’s what the old man is saying:
Niger – Thoughts Of A Concerned Citizen!
“In any case, this cooperation with France in all areas, from colonization till today, we have always been the last. If you consider the most deprived countries in terms of equipment, it’s Niger.
The least educated country, it’s Niger.
The poorest country, it’s Niger.
The country that is the most victim of climatic hazards, it’s Niger.
So, 63 years after independence, we are either the last or second to last. So, how do we continue a cooperation that for 63 years maintains you in the same situation of stagnation (status quo)?

Do you realize the progress that Niger has realized in just a few weeks? Today, in the whole world, they talk about Niger, of the Nigériens with respect. For once, I believe that all the Nigériens are unanimous and know what the people of Niger want: total independence, full and complete sovereignty, control over all of our resources, and freedom to deal with whoever we want. That’s what we want! I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
They have been the first to take a certain number of sanctions. Let us also see to what extent we can also apply retaliatory measures. For the other aspect, the people of Niger said this, never again like before. No country should threaten us because we have not armed ourselves sufficiently. So, the Nigérien people demanded that in the days or months ahead, that Niger should start the necessary process of acquiring an army that will be able to face any aggression.
The other aspect is the equipment of the army. It is true that these are highly strategic questions that we don’t disclose to the public, but the reference is necessary. When you engage in a fight of such importance with all your people, we all need to be at the same level of information.
But we need to hear the essential things. Will Niger be equipped with an army that will be able to face any threat, yes or no ?
Will Niger own its resources, and will it be able to sell them to whoever it wants, yes or no?
Will Niger continue to hope that France will calm down to resume with us, or else we will initiate the process to have other partners who are more willing, more inclined rather to help us in what we want, yes or no ?
These are essential questions, and all the Nigériens demand that it should be done.
Finally, the last question is about all the harm that has been done to Niger. The people have identified a certain number of persons accusing them of being the source of their woes. What the Nigérien people would want is for justice to be done in Niger, and that Niger regains its rights!” End of quote!

I told you that in most Francophone countries, France has intentionally weakened our armies, we had no armies, they even decide the number of your soldiers and what weapons you can acquire. I’m not making up stuff.
In Burkina Faso, a retired Colonel Charles Logan Ouattara said that, after France killed Thomas Sankara, that they told Blaise Compaore to give up the training of the Air Force, and the sellout even sold most of the fighter jets we had at that time. We couldn’t even increase the number of soldiers.
Why ? Because France holds the money bag.
But you see, when @GoitaAssimi
came, he said, enough with that shit! He raised the number of the soldiers from 22,000 to 65,000.

In Burkina Faso, as of 2020, I know we had 11,000 soldiers. But this September 29th, on the one year of
@CapitaineIb226 , I reported to you that they recruited 11,000 new soldiers, so a total of 22,000.
But among the 90k volunteers for the defense of the homeland (VDP), the government plans to convert all those who will want to be full time soldiers.
So, folks, security first, then we will talk about development along the way. When Mali didn’t have weapons nor radars, France intentionally violated their space 49 times. But now, they won’t try!
