ADP Plateau Condemns And Commiserates With Bokkos, Bassa, Dong Over Herdsmen Killings

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) chairman in Plateau State, Chief Amb. Nanyah A. Daman has condemned the unprovoked killings of the peace loving people of Daffo in Bokkos LGA, Irigwe in Bassa LGA and residents of Dong village in Jos North LGA by the protected Fulani herdsmen terrorists.

In commiserating with the people of Daffo, Irigwe and Dong, the chairman of the ADP prayed to God Almighty to give the families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Speaking to media executives at the Plateau State ADP Secretariat in Jos,Daman called on the Commander of the Operation Safe Haven (STF) and the Commissioner of Police to send security operatives to troubled areas as uptil 11.00am ( for over seven hours) there where sporadic gunshots at the Dong and Miango areas of Jos North and Bassa LGAs respectively.

In his remarks, the Plateau State ADP Secretary and the Bokkos LGC chairmanship candidate Rev. Amb. Mamot Danladi Adams called on the Bring Back Our Girls, (BBOG) campaigners to include the people of Bokkos , Irigwe, Dong, Riyom, Barkin ladi, Langtang North/South in the matter being processed for the International Criminal Court, (ICC) at the Hague against the Federal Government of Nigeria and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association.

The ADP Plateau State calls on the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Plateau State Emergency Agency (SEMA) to as a matter of urgency provide succor and relief materials to all those affected by the Fulani herdsmen disaster, killing and distraction.

On the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Plateau State, the ADP Plateau State views it as a mere jamboree where stakeholders lied to themselves before the whole world. The party queried the commissioning of uncompleted projects, refurbished tractors and spending of about N1bn to hire crowds from the 17 LGAs and logistics.
The ADP condemned the altercations between the Governor, the Minister of Sports, the APC Chairman, and the Information Commissioner calling them to stop washing their dirty linen in public. The ADP will investigate the Bokkos Potatoes Industry and the N720 billion naira debt disclosed by the Sport Minister when in office.
