Air Force, Police Lose An Officer Each To Suspected Fulani Militia Killing In Plateau State

Media reports say an air force officer and a police officer were killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen after being ambushed in Riyom village in Plateau State, carting away their service rifles.This is coming in spite of the 6pm to 6am curfew imposed in Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Jos South Local Government Areas of Plateau State.

The curfew was imposed by the Government, following attacks and reprisals in some communities that led to the death of over 100 persons.
About 12 communities in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State of Plateau came under multiple attacks over the weekend leading to the death between I00 and 300 people, according to some local sources.

The attacks, however, led to a breakdown of law and order around Angle D, according to a report filed by nationalhelm .co, which is close to Grand Cereals in Jos South as travellers were forced out of their vehicles and killed at the weekend.
