Amb.Yohanna Margif Donates Cars To Eagles Supporters Club, Promises To Build A Football Academy

Notable philanthropist and lover of football, Ambassador Yohanna Margif has donated two buses to the Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club, Plateau State chapter, to assist them in mobility during their activities.
Out of he two cars, according to Chief Yohanna ,one will be for the Supporters club and the second bus will go to the club drummers which will also aid them in their transportation to cheer the Eagles any point in time they are having matches to help boost their morale.
The ambassador made the promise on 3rd July, 2021 in his speech during the award conferred on him as the Patron of the Nigerian Eagle’s Supporters Club, Plateau State chapter held at Yelwa Club Bukuru, Jos, South LG of the state.
The recipient who was very happy over the honor done to him by choosing him for the award among many Nigerians, said he has big plans for the organization than anybody can imagine, because of his zeal for philanthropy.
He promised to stand in the gap for the youths who have the passion for football and cannot afford the logistics and financial know-how to actualize their dreams to become national or international footballers.
He further added that due to the strategic position Plateau state occupies as a producer of international footballers in the likes of John Mikel Obi, Ahmed Musa and a host of others, he has finalized plans to construct a football academy in the state that can assist in mouldling the youths to actualize their dreams.
Chairman of the Nigerian Football Association in Plateau state, Victor Longbap represented by Mr Choji in his opening remarks thanked the organizers for recognizing the recipient, Amb.Chief Yohanna Margif as a Patron of the Eagles Supporters Club, Plateau State chapter.
He however prayed to God to give the recipient wisdom and strength to promote football in Plateau state and the nation at large and to move football in the state to greater heights.
The president of the Nigerian Eagles Supporters Club in Plateau State, Hon. Sunday Gullong said the criteria for selecting the recipient as the Patron of Eagles Supporters club , is the people who have been helping and encouraging football at the grassroots through those who could not financially afford it.
“We sat down as officials of the Eagles Supporters Club in the state , postulated on the personality of the recipient ,and settled for him”.
He said no fewer than eight local players from the state are already at the verge of going for trials to further their football career, courtesy of Ambassador Yohanna.
So making him a Patron of the organization is to encourage him to do more towards employing the Youths in the state in particular and the nation as a whole in their chosen career in football.
The high point of the occasion was the five aside football match between the ambassador Yohanna football club and the chairman football association plateau state Victor Longbap football club ,and the ambassador Yohanna Margif football club won 4 goals to 3 through penalties.
