The Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paschal Agbodike on Wednesday, congratulated Barr. Sly Eze-okenwa on his emergence as the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) National Chairman and other National Officers.
Okenwa, a legal practitioner, was returned unopposed in the election that was held at the Party’s Regional Secretariat in Awka on Wednesday.
Dr. Agbodike who is also the member elect to represent Ihiala federal constituency in the 10th National Assembly in his reaction to the victory expressed confidence that the new National leadership will build the party and continue to work towards the ongoing reformation and repositioning of the party to the admiration and delight of every Nigerian as the most disciplined, focused, and issues based political party with a track record of development in States under APGA control.
The Deputy speaker appreciated the courage and charismatic leadership exhibited by the outgoing leadership in giving the party a national outlook. He further extended his gratitude to all delegates of the party over their display of maturity during the process which he said, is an indication of the strong unity in diversity that exists in APGA, and appealed to the new leadership in ensuring that such tempo is sustained.
While praying for God’s wisdom and knowledge to lead them, he said “as you all prepare to embark on your respective national assignments I pray you will conquer on every side as I wish you all the best in all you set out to accomplish “.
