Bala Usman Celebrates With Muslim Faithful, Urges Emulation Of Prophet Ibrahim’s Love, Peace And Justice

Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area, Shehu Bala Usman has called on the Muslim faithful to emulate the virtuous life of total obedience, love, peace, togetherness, Justice, and self- sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim as they celebrate this year’s Eid – el-Kabir.
The Chairman in a statement urged the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion to extend hands of support and show of love and good neighborliness as exemplified by prophet Ibrahim and upheld by prophet Muhammad.
Usman said Eid-el-Kabir is a period for renewing the spirit of compassion to fellow men and sacrifice in the service of humanity.
Usman admonished Muslims in the area to continue to reflect on the significance of the celebration which he said bordered on encouraging piety, sacrifice and love, noting that without love, no state or society could advance well.
The Chairman urged them to continue to pray for peace, progress and development of the country.
He assured of a peaceful celebration in Jos North as the Local Government administration has made arrangements with security agencies to ensure that all citizens celebrate the Sallah in peace and harmony.
The Jos North Chairman also wishes the Muslim Ummah a happy Eid el Kabir celebration.
