Coming on the heels of the issuance of an Attestation certificate by the West African Examinations Council, WAEC to President Muhammadu Buhari and the resignation from office of former Nigerian Finance minister from office as a result of a forged National Youth Service Corp, NYSC exemption certificate, the ever busy online media is currently brewing another sensational controversy by circulating two results for two different persons from the same school in the same examination for the same year but curiously having the same examination number.

Umar Mohammed Jibrilla Bindo is supposedly the same as Umar Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow, Adamawa
state governor in North eastern Nigeria.
His alleged Secondary school certificate in circulation shows a credit pass in Economics, Mathematics and Agricultural Science. The certificate shows that he sat for the General Certificate of Education, GCE, Ordinary Level at Government Secondary School, Miango, Plateau State in June 1983.
His Examination number is 20623055 .

Curiously, another candidate, Dalyop Pam Dong Rim sat for the same examination in the same school at the same time with Bindo, showing 8 subjects including the three subjects written by Bindo scoring 8 for mathematics as grade, Economics 3, and 6 for Agricultural Science. With same grades.

The twist in the tale is that both of them carry the same examination number.
The name, Dalyop Pam Dong Rim is indigenous to Plateau State in North Central Nigeria where the said examination was written, whereas Bindo is a name known as originating from Adamawa state in the north east, though it is common for students to receive education in states other than their own.

The raging controversy now remains, who indeed is candidate number 20623055 ?
It is not even expected that two candidates from two different schools would have the same examination number. Obviously, one result must be fake.
