It will be recalled that former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi initiated such moves during his tenure which increased revenue generation, turning the tide from a deficit run economy to an economy with surplus, to the admiration of all economy watchers and the general public.

Governor Makinde stated that the NNPC had applied for a parcel of land to build a new retail outlet in Ibadan in order to boost the state’s economy and create more job opportunities for the teeming youths in the state.

He stated that his government would do everything necessary to boost the state’s economy by making the environment conducive for investors.
