Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has challenged judicial officers to live above board and support the efforts of fighting crime and corruption in Nigeria.
He made the call during the Nigeria Bar Association, Annual Law Week held at Sir, Ahmadu Bello Foundation in Kaduna.
The five day conference with the theme, ” Security Challenges In Nigeria, Legal Perspectives and Solutions “.
Represented by the Zonal Head, Kaduna office of the Commission, Mailafia Yakubu,
Acting Chairman emphasized on the important role of the judiciary and the relationship shared as crucial in the fight against corruption.
He urged the Nigeria Judiciary to partner the EFCC to ensure the nation becomes corrupt free.
The Chairman Kaduna State Branch of Nigerian Bar Association Sule Shu’aibu said it is time for Nigerians to put an end to the security challenges facing the country.
He said the killings, kidnapping, cattle rustling, armed robbery, banditry and others have affected every aspect of development and is hurting all citizens.
