EFCC Unveils Handler Of Its Twitter Account, But He’s Leaving

The handler of the official EFCC Twitter handle was finally revealed recently by the agency, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) but says, he’s leaving them for greener pastures.
The handler of the account, which was unknown for months, had made the EFCC’s Twitter handle popular among Nigerians through a series of witty responses to questions and comment with some clap back.
On various occasions, followers of the EFCC Twitter account had debated the gender of the handler with some suggesting a few names, believed to be handling the account, while others felt it was a combination of multiple handlers.
However, the anti-graft agency, via a tweet on Monday, revealed that the handler, @FshawKingFisher, would no longer be in charge of its account.
While commending him for his service, the EFCC wished him well in his future endeavours.
“You are an excellent communicator; you are special. Good luck for the future and thank you for your service @FshawKingFisher, ‘The Handler’,” it tweeted via its verified handle, @officialEFCC.
“Thank you for trusting my judgement and thank you for the privilege to serve. I wish you greater success going forward. Esprit de Corps,” @FshawKingFisher responded.
Commenting on the exit of @FshawKingFisher, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in a tweet, urged the EFCC alumni to “fly safely on” to greater things.
“As an eagle @FshawKingFisher soars, heralding the rebirth of another, the owl @FRSCNigeria felicitates & counsel wisely ‘Fly safely on’,” it tweeted.
How humour laced the anti graft agency handle will be in the coming weeks is yet to be known.
