Nigeria 2019 : ‘Join Forces With The PDP To Wrest Power From APC’, Urges Kabiru Turaki

A People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) presidential aspirant, former Minister of State, Hon Kabiru Taminu Turaki has called on Nigerians to join forces with the PDP towards wresting powers from the All Progressives Congress, APC, come 2019.
He says the All Progressives Congress ,APC, has failed in all its electioneering campaign promises to Nigerians, even as he added that the APC led government is insensitive to the issue of the protection of lives and property.
Turaki who stated this to the party faithfuls in Plateau state on Friday admitted that they all made a mistake by bringing APC to power in 2015, but with the killings by herders and Boko Haram insurgents that befall the nation unabated, “Nigerians should not repeat such mistake of returning APC to the seat of Power”.
According to him, “APC can’t provide the citizens security because they don’t have concern for the plight of Nigerians who are constantly being killed in Adamawa ,Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Kebbi, Zamfara,Taraba and Kaduna states .
“APC promised that the former military leader is the right person but he has failed to salvage the plight of Nigerians from farmers /herders clashes because nobody has been arrested and brought to book since this government came on board”.
Wondering why the attackers will videotape themselves perpetrating all manners of crime and upload their video clips online, yet security forces have made no single arrest, which shows clearly that they are not ready to confront them .
How can President Muhammadu Buhari deploy over 30,000 police personnel to Ekiti state gubernatorial election to protect the votes rather than protecting vulnerable Nigerians in the villages? Nobody is safe today in their homes, kidnappers are all over and Niger Delta, MASSOB,South East, Herders clashes rampaging in the Middle Belt and some states in the North and they are threatening to going on. Igbo’s are agitating. Since the amalgamation of this country in 1914 there has never been all this agitation at all” .
He described his visit to Plateau state as a homecoming having spent all his youthful days in the State as well as attending the University of Jos.
He assured Plateau citizens that the moribund industries in the State would be revamped if given the mandate to address unemployment problems facing the country .
He called on the electorate to use the PVC very well to vote out everyone especially the APC government who are shamelessly using lies to mislead Nigerians .
Kabiru Turaki added that the government is paying lips service to the Boko Haram issue. While the presidency is paying money to the Islamist terrorist sect, they are regrouping to use the money given to them to fight Nigerians .
The state PDP Chairman, Damishi Sango said they are prepared for the forthcoming elections but the big issue is that the Plateau state Governor, Simon Lalong is surrounding himself with inexperienced people who lack the requisite knowledge on security management.
Sango explained further that the recent attack on the Governor, Simon Lalong was unacceptable to any reasonable leader but this goes to show that many citizens are hungry .
He assured that despite pockets of challenges in the PDP, at the end of the day they will take concrete decisions that will move us forward, we have to bring someone who is versed and well grounded on the situation the nation faces.
