When we published [ Read also:

The associate, Ike marshaled out facts on how Anambra state suffered a similar fate until Peter Obi showed up and successfully planned a rescue against the plot of the evil kidnappers.
“When Kidnappers and other criminals over ran Anambra state, destroying lives and property, including the Government House, Radio and Television stations etc under the previous administration of Governor Chris Ngige and even into his successor administration, Peter Obi laid out a plan because he could not bear the thought of Anambrarians refusing to come back home and invest due to insecurity. Kidnapping was rife as it is currently happening in President Muhammadu Buhari’s home state of Katsina where all the prominent indigenes who have investible funds have relocated to Niger Republic”, he told us on the phone from Awka, capital of Anambra state in South East Nigeria.
“A man can’t ride you unless your back is bent. Peter Obi refused to accept the paralysing and abnormal fear of kidnappers and other criminals.
He devised a plan against the cruelty of the bad people by revamping and transforming the Bakassi Boys into the Anambra State Vigilante Group with vehicles, modern communication equipment, etc. It was so well coordinated, that information gathering became the center piece of their operations. It will even be easier today with drones and satellite surveillance gadgets, and that would make nonsense of what the Internal Affairs minister said about the vast and ‘unpoliceable’ forests in the North. Can Northern forests be denser than southern forests ?
“What is affecting Katsina state directly, is affecting all Nigerians indirectly. That’s the reality of our shared nationality and humanity.
Obi had earlier bemoaned the fate of Nigeria with the highest number of the poor at 87 million – growing by 6 persons per minute as enunciated by Brookings Institute publication, “The start of a new poverty narrative” published by Homi Kharas, Kristofer Hamel, and Martin Hofer on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 (source: https://www.brookings.edu/…/the-start-of-a-new-poverty-nar…/) during a televised debate with Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice presidential candidate of the ruling party, APC.
He equally said that Nigeria’s Human Development Index (HDI) ranking moved from 152 – 157, as verified from http://hdr.undp.org/…/2018_human_development_statistical_up….
He also, during the debate, asserted that the Misery Index in Nigeria has worsened. Check https://www.cato.org/…/hankes-annual-misery-index-worlds-sa….
Bemoaning the fact that the federal government under Muhammadu Buhari budgeted N340 billion on health and paid over N1 trillion on PMS subsidy with Education budget at about N400 billion, [ https://punchng.com/subsidy-on-petrol-hits-n1-4tn-per-year-says-fg/ ], little wonder states like Zamfara and Katsina are some of the states with the lowest School certificate performances in the entire Federation, a child from Zamfara state for example would need a 3% score to be enrolled into a Federal government college, whereas an Anambra child would not get in with even a score of 70%.
But all children are created equal by God. Human governance is making the difference between a child born in Zamfara to be different from a child born in Anambra. It has nothing to do with genes, tribe, religion or whatever. It has everything to do with failure of governance and putting in place the wrong policies. The gap would be bridged with the right government in place to give all Nigerian children the same footing in life irrespective of which State they come from, if they would vote for the PDP in the February elections to turn the tide in Katsina, Zamfara and other states under the despicable yoke of kidnapping and other criminal activities that the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has found incapable of solving.
Peter Obi dealt with the scourge of kidnapping in Anambra state. All known kidnappers were identified, their ill gotten properties were all destroyed while they were jailed. Suddenly, kidnapping ceased in Anambra state and he started encouraging businesses to flourish in Anambra state. Start up industries like Innoson Automobile Engineering Industry started to produce vehicles at Nnewi because paralysing fear had vanished from the state. Prosperity came in and Anambra grew in leaps and bounds.
Incidentally, then governor of Katsina state, Shehu Shema ensured that all transport vehicles belonging to the Katsina State Transport Authority were purchased from Innoson Automobile Engineering Company.
Many more industrial concerns like Orient Petroleum Refinery were given licenses to operate. Graduates and other school leavers started having jobs, making the predilection to evil against the society, recede.
Peter Obi has been tested and trusted as governor of Anambra state for 8 years, whereby he took the Anambra state economy from the ordinary to the extraordinary, leaving behind a cash surplus of 75 billion naira for his successor.
This time around, he will be the Vice President, working with Atiku Abubakar as president to deliver the goodies to all of Nigeria and therefore requires the votes of Zamfara and Katsina states people as well as others including the special grace of Almighty God, to deliver.
Just so that the people of Katsina state can stay and prosper in their own country, not necessarily in Niger Republic alone
