The gruesome death of Master Sylvester Oromoni Jnr in Dowen College Lagos has once again raised the topic of safety of school children in boarding schools all over the social media.
Schools are facing serious attacks from all sides as in kidnapping for ransom by bandits in the north to bullying and brutality in the south.
There is even a university town where the proprietors even own hotels for the convenience of executive students pursuing hire degrees. Unfortunately one of such hotels have been named in the death of a student lodger.
When such deceased student is hurriedly buried, suspicions become rife that human body parts are missing. Indication that the killers are ritualists, when they may likely be international traders in the ring of human parts dealers.
Back to the Oromoni death. James Manager, senator representing Delta South district (Isoko, Ijaw and Itshekiri) says in his statement:
“I am deeply saddened and disturbed over the gruesome death of my constituent, Master Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. I have since spoken to the deceased’s father, Sylvester Oromoni Snr.
My thoughts and special prayers are with the entire Oromoni family, and I pray that God Almighty will give us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
I also want to call on all relevant law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate this matter and bring to book anyone, and everyone found complicit. I pray his soul rests in perfect peace. JEM”.
