Oyo Road Traffic Managers Pass Out At Iseyin, As Makinde Took The Salute And Inspected The Guard Of Honour

Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde was joined by road traffic dignitaries at Iseyin to attend the passing out parade for 500 newly recruited Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) officers and the inauguration of road marshals which is a voluntary service.
These new recruits and volunteers are expected to enhance the capacity of OYRTMA to enforce road traffic laws in Oyo State.
In his remarks at the event, governor Seyi Makinde thanked the officers of the 2 Division, Nigerian Army who trained the new recruits and urged the new recruits and marshals to be diligent in “serving our dear State”.
Governor Makinde also promised that his administration will continue to prioritize their welfare, ju as he approved OYRTMA’s request for hazard allowance for officers starting from 1 August 2024.
While in Iseyin, the governor and his entourage made an unscheduled stop at the LAUTECH Iseyin Campus where he interacted with students and inspected ongoing construction projects at the campus.
