‘Purported Fayose Watch List I’m On Is Fake’, Titi Akerele Reacts To Abisogan’s FB Post

Princess Titilayo Owolabi Akerele debunks the claim of being on Gov Ayodele Peter Fayose’s ‘watch list’.

A Member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Princess Titilayo Owolabi – Akerele has reacted to the insinuation contained in a Facebook post made by Gboyega Aribisogan that she has been placed on Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose.
She called it “fake news” and vowed to make “ an issue out of any such unpleasant posts against her name in the future.

Her Press release that was emailed to our office reads :

“ I notice with discontent a post on the Facebook posted today by Hon Gboyega Aribisogan that I have been placed on a “watch list” by Gov Ayodele Fayose. I wish to renounce this as fake news.

I have been a self made woman of great quality, high pedigree and with lots of intellectual achievements before I ventured into politics. I take exception to anyone insinuating that my integrity is under question or watch.

My name is more important to me than a pot of porridge. I am of royalty and was brought up to be shining lights unto others. I am PDP, I have never changed party since my incursion into politics. I am an ardent loyalist of Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose and a believer of his political philosophy to the core.

I am a Christian of divine calling who will by God’s grace never repay good with evil. I am a pride of Ekiti who believe greatly in the progress of this State. I do really appreciate the leadership and gigantic developmental efforts of Gov Ayo Fayose to move Ekiti forward. In ‘saner climes’, such a leader should be revered.

I have, from embryo been a firm, open supporter of the humble, diligent and divinely ordained Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka. I am an advocate of the Continuity Agenda.

Lastly I am grieving and again take serious exception to the use of my name in any pettyish or dirty propaganda. Politics should address democratic deliverables and not innuendos. I will surely make an issue out of any similar future write up or posts against my name.
