Peter Obi’s declaration after 14 hours was a very short statement thus:
“Dear Nigerians. I am here to inform you all that I will be aspiring for the post of President of Nigeria in 2023. -PO.”
It garnered 9,080 comments. 34.5 Retweets. 83.3k likes within the period under review.

Although, Twitter or indeed other social media networks may be unable to predict accurate voter demographics, this is a clear pointer to sentiments on ground. But the nitty gritty of on ground voting might be a different kettle of fish.
As much as Nigerians agree that whosoever, is free to contest and probably win, either young or old, there’s a groundswell of sympathy that this time, let the South East take the slot, not because Peter Obi is a trusted hands-on technocrat, the South East is yet to produce a President for Nigeria.
