When Nigeria’s leading Tier-1 Zenith Bank advertised it’s October learning series on cyber hygiene, the need to be there was clearly self evident because the entire economy is plugged into cyber space in keeping with events all over the world.

 

 

One must not be left out of what is happening globally as we are a part of the global village.




Because all the good may have migrated to the cyber world, it is expected that sharp and deceptive practices will also go there.



Everyone needs the knowledge of the cyber space in order to operate and thrive.

 

 

 

In introducing the latest Cyber Hygiene learning series, it said “ in today’s digital age, maintaining robust cyber hygiene is essential for protecting personal and organizational data from cyber threats. This practical approach to cyber hygiene will guide you through the fundamental practices necessary to safeguard your digital footprint”.




One of the outstanding features of the security knowledge is in “understanding the importance of strong passwords and regular software updates to recognizing phishing attempts and securing your network”.,




The session equipped participants with the knowledge and tools to enhance a cybersecurity posture.



 

 



There were also actionable steps that can be easily integrated into someone’s daily routine, ensuring a safer online experience for everyone.





Leading banks like Zenith, Fidelity, Access etc deserve commendations for the educational faculty that they set up and fund, just as a wonderful gesture to enhance deeper engagement in business and social life and this will greatly enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
