When America Needed A Bounce Back, They Chose A Competent Obama. Nigeria’s Scenario Needs Such With Obi

The 2023 general elections in Nigeria is one that will present a similar scenario like it happened in the United States Presidential election in 2008 where President Barack Obama won.
It was an election where hate for the blacks could not hold back the fact that the most competent candidate amongst those contesting to lead and save America from its economic woes then, had to be a black man called Barack Obama.
America needed to bounce back on its feet and it had a choice.
It was either to continue to lead the world, or to continue to steep itself in its destructive hate of the Blacks, thus destroying itself in the process.
Americans, knowing full well that it was better to survive first, suspended the hate for the blacks to get Barack Obama to lead them, a well thought out idea that saved America and Americans from economic depression.
The case of Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 Nigerian election is closely similar to that confronted America and it’s choice of President Barack Obama .
Currently, Peter Obi remains the most competent candidate amongst those jostling to lead Nigeria as from 2023. While almost 70% of Nigerians from all walks of life, tribe and religion knows this, like Barack Obama of America, the current challenge before Nigerians is an unexplainable hate for the Igbos, the tribe Mr. Peter Obi belongs to,which will be a story for another day.
Mr. Peter Obi becoming a candidate of a major political party at a time like this where the Nigerian economy is on its knees and in shambles, the value of the Nigerian currency, Naira, highly depreciated, unemployment and poverty at an unprecedented height; brings to the fore the urgent need for Nigerians to arise and suspend the hate for the Igbos, Peter Obi’s tribe for now and as one nation, bring Peter Obi in to save the country, for us to continue the hate after his 8 years tenure.
I am saying this because even Barack Obama coming to save Americans from their economic recession from 2008 did not stop the hate for the blacks in America.
Nigerians should look at the survival of the nation first. We must understand that the current All Progressive Congress (APC) government has borrowed so much money and evidence from all institutions, nationally and internationally shows Nigeria will soon exceed her borrowing limit and that will be a terrible situation for us as a nation.
Bringing in Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC or Atiku Abubakar of the PDP will mean signing our economic death warrant because the two gentlemen are perceived to be experts at distributing already accumulated wealth, without necessarily being proficient at wealth creation.
Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party has an antecedent and indelible record of saving money, and effectively managing a dying economy to life and boom. He has shown this in Anambra State as a governor where he did not go on a borrowing binge for the 8years that he was in power, nor did he owe anybody, both contractors and workers.
Nigeria at this time needs Mr. Peter Obi to come and take us out of the economic mess we are currently in, caused by PDP’s 16 years of poor leadership and the APC’s 8 years of clueless leadership at the federal level before we sink deeper.
Suspend the hate now, and hate the Igbos later when we are out of this mess, if not for your sake, for the sake of your children and generations yet unborn.
