EFCC I’M HERE, Fyose’s tee-shirt pops eyes in the fashion world.

Months before former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose was due to leave office, the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC started punching in the air, aimed at intimidating the ex governor under the untenable suspicion that Fayose would rather flee than face their trial. This was despite the fact that the ex governor had indicated his intentions to come to the Agency’s offices in Abuja.

The acts of the EFCC so angered Fayose that he got an ‘In-Your-Face’ ‘EFCC, I’m Here’ screen  print emblazoned on his tee-shirt in a defiant mood, then went on to report at the anti-graft agency.

Tee-shirt models announce the Fayose trail blazing fashion.

The dramatic Fayose pose soon caught the adoring attention of Fashionistas in the social media and as it trended, screen printers had a perfect idea.
‘EFCC I’m Here’ Tee-shirts in different colors have lit up shops from Aba to Abuja, Ibadan to Ekiti, Enugu to Maiduguri and youths are buying. Nollywood that is adept at producing home videos every hour are already rehearsing for a new flick on the EFCC saga with Ayo Fayose.

Meanwhile, Security watchers are bemoaning the depths the graft agency has sunk into by using it’s much derided media trials of opposition politicians caught in its web. Many suspects now scoff at the shenanigans of the agency and insist that it’s aura is dwindling and has become less respected because of it’s procedures that has not convinced the courts much.

This is Ayo Fayose’s second night with the agency that says it has compelling evidence against the ex governor. Human Rights watchers say Fayose should be taken to court, if indeed they have proof of wrong doing. Nigerian law expects Security agencies to charge a suspect to court within two days.
