Osun Rerun: Ademola Adeleke, PDP Not Boycotting Today’s Poll

Adeleke visits Iyiola Omisore in Ile Ife, says the PDP will participate in the rerun poll.

The Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation has debunked the fake news that the PDP is boycotting the rerun election scheduled today, Thursday 27 September, 2018. The Organisation and the People’s Democratic Party say they are in the race to win. They are fully prepared to vote in the polling booths slated for the rerun.

This position was expressed in a statement sent to The Oasis Reporters.

Vote today; You are Safe – PDP

Our attention has been drawn to the fake news being circulated, purporting that Senator Ademola Adeleke has pulled out of Thursday’s supplementary polls. It is a lie and defeatist fabrication by the APC and her agents.

We urge voters to troop out to vote for the PDP and her candidate. Our party, the PDP is not boycotting this Thursday’s polls. We are participating in all the seven units for the supplementary polls at Orolu,Osogbo, Ife North and Ife South local governments.

Please do not stay at home or boycott the election. Adequate security has been provided to secure lives and property. All voters are safe and rerun polling units are very secured.

Voting in this poll is compulsory to consolidate on the victory of last Saturday.Voting for the PDP will complete the redemption of our dear state by putting an end to half salary and unquantifiable pains of pensioners, workers and the larger Osun population.
