Thanking the representatives of teachers in the sixteen local government area of Ekiti State, after winning the primary election, Oke said it would be his utmost joy if the entire teachers in the state could make him their preferred candidate, noting that he would not disappoint them if elected.

Com. Oke vowed to have a good relationship with the government and use the relationship to bring home all that would make the teachers happy.

He further thanked the Executive Governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi over his prompt payment of teachers’ salaries.

He also appreciated the governor for the employment of teachers, both at secondary and primary Schools to foster effective and efficient learning environment, saying some schools in the state have been built and renovated by the government.

Speaking on the unity and oneness of teachers that Fayemi’s administration is promoting, Oke condemned those minorities of less than 5% of Teachers to stop fabricating lies that are baseless.

He stressed that Ekiti teachers always throw their support behind the people who are popular among them.

“If I am elected NUT chairman during the general election, slated to hold February, 2021, I would represent my colleagues in the profession well, “your welfare would be my top priority, support me and I will not disappoint you”, he said.
